Frank Taylor started the Google Earth Blog in July, 2005 shortly after Google Earth was first released. He has worked with 3D computer graphics and VR for many years and was very impressed with this exciting product. Frank completed a 5.5 year circumnavigation of the earth by sailboat in June 2015 which you can read about at Tahina Expedition, and is a licensed pilot, backpacker, diver, and photographer.
It’s Impressive how much oil the united states consumes, three times more than the second place. although if it’s measured by how much oil the US buys from other countries then it will give high data.. the question is what do the US do with all that? they refine it as Gas and sell it back to the countries that don’t have a refinery. that’s how it works in Mexico at least. Mexico gets crude oil, sells it to the US, and buy it back refined. I guess other countries do the same. the US is the World Trade Center, everything goes thru here.
