  • Featured Modeler – Google has announced another featured 3D modeler at their SketchUp blog. This time the lucky guy is John of Dursley, England whose main objective is to model his home town. John is a retired architect, so he brings a more educated perspective to his 3D models.

  1. SURVEY – done it, and made comprehensive re-design of the layers pabel with a full page option for better access a top priority in comment. But nothing on the survey page says how widely it is being advertised – getting this right should help manage bias in the results – nor if and where any results might be published. Any information on this?

    Develop a Political Atlas layer. Use different colors for different countries. For a fixed country use different colors for different states (provinces). At a fixed zoom level use a fixed and reasonable number of cities. Label country capitals and state capitals, etc.
