Google Earth Biographies: Hank Williams, Bob Marley, AC Gilbert

Hank Williams Biography in Google EarthThe Google Earth Community (GEC) is a forum allowing people to share Google Earth content or comment on things they see in Google Earth. It is organized by topics and there is an almost overwhelming about of information added each day. In fact, there are currently over 600,000 registered members and at any given time there are usually 15-20 times as many unregistered readers as there are registered. So, the amount of posts in the forum is huge. Google Earth Blog tries to help you find some of the best things to be found at the GEC, but there are many gems there yet to be discovered.
One GEC member has put together a number of excellent geo-referenced biographies in the form of GE files. His pseudonym is ‘Dorseyland‘ and his posts are something to watch for. Here are just a few of his biography posts (and the corresponding GE File):

Frank Taylor started the Google Earth Blog in July, 2005 shortly after Google Earth was first released. He has worked with 3D computer graphics and VR for many years and was very impressed with this exciting product.
