A Google Earth Community member called ‘ezegalottiarg25’ just announced he has released a new map of Buenos Aires which includes 3D buildings, street maps and even subway maps. You can download Buenos Aires here
.
Here is his description of the contents:
This is the entire Federal district of Buenos Aires with complete highway system, the main roads (with minor corrections from the previous “buenos aires main roads) and all of the remainding roads in the city. This file includes a large 3d portion of the downtown area and main buildings in Buenos aires. It also includes the entire subway system of buenos aires (current subway plus future plans and building of subway). This also includes the division of neiborhoods in Buenos aires.
This file has alot of 3d buildings with rich characteristics created with google earth polygons and also has some of the buildings and structures that are currently in construction in the downtown area.

Great release. I’m from Buenos Aires and this is extremely useful for me (and for many others). It’s very accurate and complete.
Revolutionary, far better that our regular transportation guides
Very useful too for working or just getting around or sightseeing
If the bright author wants to update this upgrade he should look to point numbers (ie) Av Rivadavia 5500 – 5800, etc
Hope he extends to also cover Buenos Aires outskirts as well, from Tigre in the North all the way down to Rotonda de Alpargatas in the South
Muy bueno! Far too good! Impressionnant!

This is not working in version 4.3, is it because it is not compatible or another reason. Any help appreciated….
Thanks,
Its very cool, but is there any way I can put this on my iphone 3g? so that way I can use it as a gps!
Any idea why my view of BA keeps flashing with sharp angular lines, wedges and triangles?
Very good work, nonetheless it can be improved. There are lots of important buildings that aren’t modelized in 3D. Some examples are: Casa Rosada (Pink House, the same than the White House but painted pink) Schools of Laws/Engineering (there are two of them, both equally important)/Medicine (including Clinic’s Hospital – Hospital de Clínicas, estará bien traducido?)/Economics all of them belonging to the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Cid Campeador’s Statue which remembers the Knight of the poem.
