The History of the World with Google Earth

history-of-the-worldOver the years we’ve seen Google Earth used for education in many different ways. There are sites like GEforTeachers.com that offer many different resources, ways to teach math using Google Earth and many other great resources to explore.

A new book has come out that ties standard book features and illustrations with Google Earth, to bring a rich experience to the readers of it: “History of the World with Google Earth“.

Christina Refford at Cool Mom Tech has a great review of the book, digging into the content and how it works.  The Google Earth integration is little more then coordinates in the pages to allow you to find the location in Google Earth, but it greatly enhances the experience of the book to be able to explore each area in Google Earth.
