Google Announces New Support Forums for Google Earth Products

[UPDATE 15-Feb-2007: The new support forums are now official see below.]

Google is really showing some love for us Google Earth users today. First the announcement about new Google Earth search capability, and also today they have announced new support forums. Google has long had support oriented forums at the Google Earth Community. Today it was announced Google would like to get closer to the users of the various GE products. So, they are going to set up new support forums where Googlers will be officially monitoring so you can get an official answer more quickly (theoretically). I suspect the new forums will be going up as Google Groups - UPDATE: they are Google's new special Google Groups-like support forums. Dear Google Earth,

IT'S A CASE OF EMERGENCY. On March 25th, at local time 16.00 (Greenwich + 2 hours) a helicopter crashed near Göksun-Kurucaova in Eastern Turkey and nobody could find it since then. 6 people were on board. Is it possible to look for this area for exact localisation of the helicopter?
