Santa's Route in Google Earth

Santa Route in Google EarthA website called Travel by GPS has a web page dedicated to Tracking Santa. One of the cool things they have done is mapped out Santa's route showing how he passes over 529 cities from midnight to midnight in one contiguous path.

So, get in the Christmas spirit and download Santa's Route in Google Earth. You can click on the "Points" folder after it downloads and click on "Play Tour" to fly the entire path if you want (warning, this might take a while unless you have Santa Magic).

Very cool! I intend to be glued to the computer tomorrow night. When Santa starts getting close to my neck of the woods, it's time to send the kiddies to bed ;-)
    Santa, please come early!

Growing up a nerd was tough for me, but my kids will know to the nano-second when Santa is going to arrive.

Dear santa, I wanted a Lego Star Wars Ship. From Sarah: Dear Santa, I am glad I got to travel the world with you on the computer, I set out three cookies and a glass of milk for you myself. I learned on a movie that christmas is not about gettung presents but about the person who gave them to you and how much they love you. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas Santa! Love Sarah and Andrew

Dear Santa, My little couin would like a dolly and my little sister wants American Girl doll stuff I for one would like anything. I know that the real reason for Christmas is to give gifts from the heart. You rock!

    Dear Santa Clause,
I don't mean to put pressure on you during your busiest time of year, but I am a only child and I need someone to talk to, someone to tell my feelings to, and I think that is you Santa. What I am about to tell you might shock you, but I think I can tell you anything, here it goes. I move alot which means I change schools all the time which is really hard and even more hard when your in middle school like I am. My parents do drugs and drink and fight I get scared a lot. The only time of the year that they don't do that is on christmas. Please Santa make this the best christmas ever.

    P.s
I am moving back to Bladen county so don't forget me this year.

    Your Friend,
    Samantha Morrison

My little girl is called Pixie and is officially one of Santas helpers. When she is not helping santa, she tells me that she is one of gods angels, (and therefore does not have to tidy her room!!) She and her little sister Harli are so excited that they r running around the walls. I feel a late night and an early morning.....yawn. Hey, its Christmas...and I think that Im probably more excited than they are.
